In the past I had several separate DOORS versions running on the same server machine, with a separate DOORS DB service per a version of a DOORS DB (DOORS 7.1, DOORS 8.1, DOORS 9.0).
In current installation guide of DOORS 9.2.0.2 I can read how to install a "New installation" or how to upgrade an existing installation. However the text explains how to install a "New installation" only on a "machine that does not have a previous version...".
Is it not possible anymore to have co-existence of several DOORS versions ? Specifically I would like to have DOORS 9.2.0.2 co-exist with DOORS 9.1.0.2. Is it possible ?

Got lots versions running on this computer. It seems to me that I figured out that you need to install from the highest version (9.2) backwards, so the lesser installs do not see any 'doors' install with which they are familiar. But it may be the case that starting with v9.0, you cannot install DOORS if there is a HIGHER version installed, and if so you would install v9.0 first, then v8.3 and v8.1 and v7.2, then v9.1 and v9.2.
You cannot install two patch levels of the same version, e.g. v9.2.0.5 and v9.2.0.1.
